The policy is a professional liability and malpractice policy which covers:-

Professional, public and product liability of £5,000,000 per claim per year

• Public liability for retail sales to non-clients up to £30,000 per year
• No excess
• DAS legal and taxation cover of up to £100,000 per year
• Dedicated legal and taxation helpline
• No restrictions for treating pregnant clients
• No restrictions for intimate waxing
• Includes full professional definition of cover not just accidental injury only giving rise to a claim
• Includes financial loss, libel and slander
• UK residents cover for temporarily working abroad (except USA and Canada)
• BABTAC Good Practice Guide for your information.

Full membership of BABTAC is £89.  There are various extensions available to the insurance as not all therapies are covered in the standard insurance cover, laser based therapies start at £95.  A full list of the various extensions can be seen here.
