For safe and effective hair removal, Cynosure offers the Elite Aesthetic workstation, a highly versatile system that allows you to perform multiple laser applications quickly and efficiently for clients of any skin types quickly and with minimal discomfort. The Elite also offers treatment of facial and leg veins, treatment of benign epidermal pigmented lesions like age spots, sun spots and freckles in 1 – 2 treatments. The science

Cynosure’s versatile Elite MPX™ Aesthetic Workstation allows users to perform multiple laser applications quickly and efficiently for patients of any skin type. As with Smartlipo MPX, the device incorporates MultiPlex technology – in this case blending 755 nm alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser wavelengths. The ability to blend these two gold standard wavelengths results in greater control for the practitioner with enhanced results for the client.

This is especially true for achieving long-term hair removal, according to Emil Tanghetti, M.D., clinical professor of dermatology at the University of California, Davis (Davis, California, U.S.) and Director of The Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery (Sacramento, California, U.S.). “The way MultiPlex technology blends the alexandrite and Nd:YAG wavelengths is what makes Elite MPX effective for treatment of different skin types.
